Our approach
Therapy that feels like childhood.
We use the science of ABA in the places children live, play, and grow — because that's where real learning happens.
Why play-based therapy works
Often referred to as Natural Environment Teaching (NET) or naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions, our approach blends the scientific principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a child's natural desire to play, explore, and interact.
Our clinical team uses evidence-based ABA methods — like positive reinforcement, prompting, and continuous data collection — but applies them seamlessly so that therapy simply looks like playtime from the outside. A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), follows the child's lead rather than directing every activity.
Natural Environment Training
Natural Environment Training (NET) is at the heart of everything we do. Rather than drilling skills at a table, we teach in the real contexts where those skills will actually be used — during play, daily routines, and social interactions.
This approach helps children generalize what they learn. A child who practices requesting during a favorite game is far more likely to use that skill at home, at the park, or in the classroom.
Play-Based Learning
Play is a child's native language. We use it intentionally — selecting activities that naturally motivate your child and embedding therapeutic goals within them. Whether it's building blocks, pretend play, or a favorite sensory activity, every moment is an opportunity.
Our therapists are trained to read each child's cues, follow their interests, and create joyful interactions that build skills without the child ever feeling like they're "in therapy."
Family Partnership
You know your child better than anyone. That's why we treat parents and caregivers as essential partners in the therapy process. We share strategies, explain the "why" behind each goal, and coach families so progress continues long after the session ends.
Regular check-ins, progress updates, and open communication are built into every care plan. We're in this together.
Scientific foundation
Evidence-based. Child-centered.
Positive Reinforcement
We identify what motivates each child and use those natural motivators to encourage new skills and behaviors — making learning rewarding from the start.
Prompting Strategies
Our RBTs use carefully calibrated prompts to guide children toward success, then systematically fade support as skills become independent.
Continuous Data Collection
Every session is tracked. Our BCBAs review data regularly to measure progress, adjust goals, and ensure your child's plan is always working.
BCBA-Supervised Care
All therapy is designed and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), with sessions delivered by trained Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
